Tackling Plastic Pollution in the Great Lakes

The Great Lakes ecosystem is home to many animals but the lakes are also full of plastic. Learn what you can do to help from a Shedd Aquarium educator.

Nearly 22 million pounds of plastic enter the Great Lakes each year. We can stop this flow of pollution and keep the lakes healthy and safe for ourselves and the animals that call the lakes home. Gabby Petrelli, coordinator of conservation action at Shedd Aquarium, will talk about the beautiful Great Lakes ecosystem and focus on actions you can take at home, on the go, at work, and in the community.
