Games, prizes, and an outdoor concert for all ages in the parking lot on Sunday, June 5 from 1-4pm. (Concert starts at 3pm)

Come celebrate with us! We'll have games, crafts, and an outdoor concert for all ages at our Summer Reading Kickoff in the parking lot on Sunday, June 5 from 1-4pm. (Concert starts at 3pm) 

  • Pick up your free Summer Reading bumper magnet.
  • Play games, including PLINKO and bucket toss, to win a prize
  • Browse and take home free books donated by the Friends of the Library
  • Try out an instrument from our "Instrument Petting Zoo" provided by Bach to Rock
  • At 3:00pm, enjoy live music from Chicago Baraat, featuring sousaphone, dhol, trumpet, sax, snare drum, and trombone. In traditional Indian weddings, a baraat band often accompanies the groom’s procession to bring music, rhythm, and energy to the celebration. We hope you can join us for this festive and rhythmic outdoor concert!

Please note: Our parking lot will be closed on Sunday, June 5 to accommodate our Kickoff event. Please park in the Village Hall parking lot (1225 Cedar Ln), or the spaces along Cedar Lane.
