Find out where your plastic waste is going and how to prevent it from entering Lake Michigan from a Shedd Aquarium educator.
Nearly 22 million pounds of plastic enter the Great Lakes each year. We can stop this flow of pollution and keep the lakes healthy and safe for ourselves and the animals that call the lakes home. An expert from the Shedd Aquarium will tell us about the beautiful Great Lakes ecosystem and focus on actions you can take at home, on the go, at work, and in the community. Cosponsored by Go Green Northbrook.
This event will be held live using an online meeting platform. Once you have registered, please check your email the day before the program for a link.
