An opportunity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to read and learn, make friends, and have fun together in a public setting.

What is the Next Chapter Book Club?

An opportunity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to read and learn, make friends, and have fun together in a public setting.  This group meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 1:30PM in the library's Interactive Classroom.

How does it work?

Up to eight members and two volunteer club meeting facilitators meet biweekly for an hour and a half to read and discuss a book of their choosing.

Who can become a member?

Anyone age 18 and over can participate, no matter their reading or ability level.

Who leads the book clubs?

Trained volunteers facilitate each club meeting.

It’s a great opportunity to make friends, enjoy books, and have fun on a regular basis!
