Director Jonathan Gruber takes us on a journey back to the Civil War to take a look at Jewish Soldiers of that period. Appealing to any with an interest in Jewish history, many might not know that there were Jewish soldiers fighting on both the Union and Confederate sides. The film chronicles the 10,000 Jewish soldiers that served in the army (7,000 for the Union and 3,000 for the Confederacy). It is narrated by Oscar-nominated screenwriter John Milius.
