Prepare for the April 8 solar eclipse when 95% of the sun will be covered in Chicago. A NASA Solar System Ambassador explains 5 types of eclipses, why this one is special, and how to view it safely.

Sean Fisher-Rohde is a high school science teacher with a passion for astronomy, the science that unites people across generations. He is a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador who gives talks on eclipses and other celestial phenomena.

Registered patrons who attend the entire program will receive up to 2 pairs of glasses.
