The library will be closed on Sunday, April 20.
Award-winning author Mary Robinette Kowal leads this workshop on methods of world-building
In science-fiction and fantasy there is a fascination with constructed worlds. As a writer, it's easy to get overwhelmed with all the choices you need to make to create a compelling world. And if you are writing short fiction, the idea of doing all that work for a few thousand words can be doubly-daunting. So what parts do you have to do and what parts can you skip?
This event will be held live using an online meeting platform. Once you have registered, please check your email the day before the program for a link.
Advance registration is required for all of our virtual programs. You do not need a library card to register. You only need to register once for each program, even if more than one person in your household will be attending the program.
