Learn tips on supporting bird populations with landscape enhancements and plant selection, with an emphasis on native plants.
Inviting birds into gardens by creating a healthy habitat is a joyful way to connect with nature and help support bird populations. Pam Karlson transformed her small Chicago garden into a haven attracting over 100 different bird species. She’ll provide tips on landscape enhancements and plant selection, with an emphasis on natives and native cultivars. Chicagoland’s importance along the migratory route, bird species diversity, diet/foraging, nesting, and citizen science will also be discussed.
In partnership with Northbrook Garden Club and Go Green Northbrook.
