Pollak Room AB - First Floor

Veteran rock journalists Jim Summaria and Mark Plotnick bring this electrifying era to life with rare concert photos and behind-the-scenes stories.

Jim Summaria and Mark Plotnick are authors of the traditionally published books Classic Rock - Photographs from Yesterday and Today (2019) and '70s Chicagoland Rock Concerts (2024). Jim has been professionally photographing music concerts at regional venues from the early 1970s to the present. His photos have been requested by music acts, websites, books, magazines and prestigious institutions and organizations. Mark is a writer who has contributed music essays, and concert and CD reviews to Chicago Blues Guide and other publications. Jim contributes photography and reviews for Chronicle Media.

Both of their books are part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's Library and Archives Collection in Cleveland, Ohio.
