Chicago Recorder Trio (CRT) presents its new program "A Musical Potpourri," with music spanning 8 centuries and 5 octaves. With its many recorders, ranging from the soprano to the sub great bass, CRT offers a selection of musical aromas from 14th-century Italy and 18th-century Germany to contemporary Chicago. Featuring music by King Henry VIII, Telemann, C.P.E. Bach, Patrick O’Malley (yes, our own!), and more. Indulge yourself with sweet bird calls, savory African rhythms, the perfumed secrets of ancient goddesses, and a smokey hint of New Orleans.
