Join author Mike Zapata for a writing workshop on taking risks.

As art critic David Sylvester once said, "Artists must be allowed to get into a mess." As we consider how to make a mess in support of our own writing, we'll take our inspiration from writers and artists who take "messy" but important risks in their own work. Guided discussions and writing activities will encourage writers to build a writing practice that embraces both risk and the worlds in which they live. 

In partnership with StoryStudio Chicago. 

This event will be held live online using Zoom. Once you have registered, check your email the day of the program for a link to join the meeting.
