Writing for teens and young adults can bring its own share of challenges. In this craft talk, award-winning author James Klise will help you to devise successful plots for younger readers.

Writing for younger readers brings its own share of challenges, especially regarding things like plot, pacing, and clarity of motive. No matter the genre of tale, the goal always is to create a narrative that compels, surprises, and satisfies. In this craft talk, Edgar Award-winning and ALA Stonewall Honor-winning author James Klise will offer several approaches to devising successful plots for younger readers, and will include time for Q & A.
