The International Children’s Media Center (ICMC) partners with the Northbrook Library for an exciting virtual film festival program, including an afterparty with the directors of the short films.
Join six of the International Children’s Film Festival directors in a Zoom afterparty! Attendees will be able to chat with the directors. Directors Koji Yamamura, Harry Sinclair, Lena von Dohren, Francesco Mazza, Vincent Wilson, and Jamy Wheless will all make an appearance.
Co-hosted by the Chicago-based International Children’s Media Center, the festival will showcase captivating and culturally rich films from twelve different countries, including South Africa, Switzerland, and Brazil. This year's virtual film festival focuses on "Seeing the Best in Others". The program showcases twelve captivating short films from twelve countries, including three Chicago premieres. We invite you to watch at home and then vote for your favorite film!
These world-class children's films will appeal to children ages 5 to 10, but even older kids will find something to spark their imagination in this international mini-festival. Learn more at www.northbrook.info/film-fest. Advance registration is required for all of our virtual programs. You do not need a library card to register.
