Explore the life and art of Depression-era artist Reima Ratti, from his childhood in Waukegan's Finnish immigrant community to his Civilian Conservation Corps experience.

An educator from the Dunn Museum of Lake County shares the story of the young artist. Influenced by his Finnish heritage and life in Waukegan's working-class neighborhoods, Reima Ratti's art documented the economic and social changes that shaped Lake County during the Great Depression.

We will also take a closer look at Ratti's artwork from the Dunn Museum's collection.
